Reading and Mentoring Initiative

Do you have bored teenagers at home who would like to do some #socialwork over the summer and #mentor younger children, then continue reading:

I have 5 children between the ages 6-10years who though attending school, do not come from English speaking or privileged backgrounds. Over the summer children tend to retain as little as 30% of what they have learned the previous term, and these young ones need to keep reading to further develop their language skills. So here is where you come in, I need volunteers over the age of 14 who will be happy to mentor and read with these children..

This is a pilot for the Magdalena Jaun-Ali Khan welfare association (in the process of being registered in PK). So please Whatsapp me directly if you have a teenager who is interested. This is a good way to keep them busy, and learning to give back to society.

Where: DHA phase 4

When: July 2024, you can do one to five days a week, but consistancy is key.
